She hires the games protagonist, Jack Carver, who runs a boat charter business in the South Pacific to get her close to Krieger's Island. Valerie Cortez is an undercover CIA agent, and is investigating Krieger's operations on the island. The experiment results in Trigens, genetically altered beasts. Krieger, is the CEO of the genetic company Krieger Corp, which funds an experiment involving genetic modification on an uncharted island in Micronesia, which Krieger leads. And people CAN spot you if you're wearing a bright red shirt and hide in some tall grass. The original version of Dr. It makes me feel alive while playing ^^ not like some games where you say to yourself, "oh this is harder part, better save here in case I die 100 times", and then you run in like Rambo knowing you just saved ^^ Yeah, but in real life, people can't spot you through tents. It makes me feel alive while playing ^^ not like some games where you say to yourself, "oh this is harder part, better save here in case I die 100 times", and then you run in like Rambo knowing you just saved ^^ Jist like if it was real life where you could be killed by 1 bullet at any moment :) It makes you really focus and your performance becomes very very slow. I think it's better as it is, without the quick save. What's up with the patrol boat being able to shoot pin point missles at you from so far away when you're hidden in the middle of the jungle? Bummed out that there was not a single checkpoint between here and there? Yes. I just did quite a bit of running around - maybe 30 minutes starting from a checkpoint midway through (first mission, captured the patrol boat) and then got killed and it took me all the way back to where I started the entire session.
Far cry 1 trigens how to#
Here's a link that describes how to setup the the quick save / quick load process.
It will save you from playing a large portion of the game over again.
You need to find a safe place for a moment. By the way there is a way to quick save (just do a search for it if you don' t already know how) but you can't do it while your in imminent danger. I hope you find your way through hard parts and enjoy a different kind of a shooter. But watch out for other gunboats sneaking up on you. I always try to save ammo by sniping the crew of a gunboat, commandeering it, and straffing the beaches. Very easy! In one level (battle going on in a fortress at night) if you find the hang glider on the hill you can fly to an island with a light house where there is an ammo cache. then I learned that if I went and immediately killed the soldiers and took over the big machine gun I was better at killing the trigens with their ammo than they were. I used to wait for the battle to finnish and try to kill the trigens as they came around the corner for me. There was a level with a lab where you go through a door to a basement and hear around the corner a battle going on betreen soldiers and the trigens. But sometimes it is important to strive ahead. And yeah, I loved the day that I found that the trigens would follow me out into the deep water and drown. If you stand up there too long they see you and seem to know you are coming. Which way is best sometimes depends on how quickly you jump over the falls. There are multiple ways to approach each situation. It is true that Far Cry is difficult but part of that is because its a thinking and strategizing fps not a run and gun fps.
